a ff+2470 is enough. a 300mm would help for whales if you plan to take a
boat tour, but only 1% chance you can catch it. an underwater dc will be
really nice for snorkeling.
save yourself for beach...... no one carries a large cam bag to beach,
unless you are a wedding pro.
