bought new (DPReview Gearshop) 2013/10 to replace 50/1.8. barely used (<100
shots) since I have too many normal lens....
This copy has no focus shift on my Canon 5Dc. Can provide close focus shots
if interested. It also works fine on 6D (close focus shift a little bit if
shoot at ruler. but in real shoot, it looks fine to me so I don't bother
using micro adjustment on 6D). Anyhow, it has plenty of warranty to use. You
can send your camera body and lens to Sigma to fine tune in case you need.
Regarding focus accuracy, I think all large aperture lens are subject to
missing shot in one way or another. For your reference, I have noct f1,
voigtlander 50/1.1, voigtlander 50/1.5 and now Canon 50/1.2. No one is
perfect.....(well, i can further comment on this if interested. I just adapt
myself to the lens/camera body combination.
It comes with hood, front/rear caps, case, box, paperwork.
Just bought canon 50/1.2 so this has to go.
On my 5Dc, focus seems spot on no matter from ruler or real shot. here are
