"Canon just announced the following cameras and lens!
EOS 5DS for $3699 at B&H or Canada
EOS 5DS R for $3899 at B&H or Canada
EF 11-24mm f/4L USM for $2999 at B&H or Canada
EOS Rebel T6i for $749 at B&H
EOS Rebel T6s for $849 at B&H
The EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R are the long-awaited 50MP+ full-frame DSLRs. It’s
yet to be seen if the sensor technology has been bought-in (e.g. Sony) or
new Canon technology. At $3699 and $3899 with and without anti-alias filter,
respectively, they are priced modestly (similar to where the 5D Mark III
started out).
We’re excited to see the EF 11-24mm f/4L USM — hefty price at $2999 price
tag, but apparently it’s designed to resolve pixel-sharp on the 50MP EOS
5DS.
Finally, two new rebels, the EOS Rebel T6i and the slightly up-market EOS
Rebel T6s, the first rebel to feature an LCD top-plate."
