just a reminder, according to this article
it will terminate if daily drop is 80%. it's still possible.

Vix将会长期低位，XIV/SVXY每年都有将近翻倍的机会。每次Vix上20，就是空的机会。
这几年大家把IRA多翻几倍。

after 2012, VIX pulls back after reaching 20-25 level
however, looking back further, VIX easily reached 40 level
the highest was around 90 in Oct 2008
the put/call ratio is 97%, not low, so that puts are not cheap
however, the ratio can be higher, puts more expensive, VIX higher
what I want to say: there is uncertainty in VIX, depending on the market
2014 may be different from 2012, 2013

空UVXY和TVIX更好，sharpe ratio更高。我这两年经常空。

准备hold到40

that will almost never happen
even spot vix jumps up 100% in a single day, xiv will likely lose only less
than 50%
but yeah, always be cautious, always not toput baby's milk money on this
thing

您的timing真准，沉的住气
俺看到从36.6 跌倒30.5，就dip toes in了
不过一直做了准备average down
看了去年一年到现在，spot vix最高也就到了21多点，去年六月的时候，今年十月
goverment shut down到了20吧
很难等到vix jump，俺耐心差了点

空的不好很容易玩完的，我亲眼看见从不到20升到将近100.

这两年美国证检会的一些举措，涨跌幅限制，部分限制了vix的幅度。特别是2008-2009
危机和2010年胖手指后，监管更好。
再者，小仓位空，不停重复操作，不赚不走，你必须赚钱。
