大概要求如下：
1. 生活交通便利 -- 临近中餐厅，中国超市， COSTCO，最好离上班地点NOVATO开车30
分钟之内
2. 安全并环境好 -- 半年后爸妈过来
3. 距离好的妇产医院近些 --- 并求好的妇产医院推荐，谢谢：）

san rafael/novato if price is not a issue, it is close to richmond, SF.
Novato has Costco also.
Petaluma if price matters
Rohnert Park if price really matters.
These cities are safe generally.

普通情况下,
天时：年龄的搭配
地利：很难去开始一段远距离的感情
人和：看着顺眼，沟通甚欢，三观类似。
但转角处又的确可以碰到，LOL。

Marin County都没有什么中国餐厅和超市，可以住在El Cerrito或者Albany，每天开车
过Richmond Bridge，大概40分钟左右

Benicia本身不错, 但是靠近炼油厂, 环境污染太严重. 还有就从Benicia到Novato, 不
是很近, 还要每天付过桥费, 还不如住San Rafael, 那儿很不错.

If price is not a matter then anywhere from sausalito to novato is good.
Novato has good and newer apts, like others said there is costco there as
well as sutter health,2 good chinese restaurants (China Palace and China
Village) both offer good chinese food as long as you tell the waiter that
you want real chinese food. Novato is safe as well as any city in Marin (
except Marin City and Part of San Rafael, but still all better than anywhere
cross the richmond bridge). Try craigslist for apt.

Welcome to Marin.
Marin in general is not a renter-friendly place. Decent place are
expensive while economic apts are not decent. Better find Townhouses to
rent instead of apartment complex if you want to rent in Marin.
Renting in east bay will have more chance to get a decent place with a
reasonable price, but the commute is long and boring. And to be honest,
most parts of Marin (except Novato and part of San Rafael) is an upscale
place while east bay is so so.

Working in Novato, living in Marin, no bridge crossing.
But renting from sausalito to San Rafael is outrageously expensive. You
will see.

北湾好处是风景秀丽，安全。基本是白人居多。老墨其次。老中少，老黑更少。除了华
人商店没有，其他商店都很全。

其实很想找一个距离SF ChinaTOWN 和NOVATO都不远的某中间地带。
会考虑你建议的TOWNHOUSE，这样父母过来也方便不是。
租房BUDGET 1500/月左右吧，不知道FORRENT.COM好还是CRAIGLIST上比较好找呢。

i dont think the rent is "outrageously" expensive
of course it depends on your expectation of the apt and pricing
we used to live in an apt which is pretty nice (to us) and not that
expensive (again, to us)
I think LZ is looking at buying a house soon, so renting is not a big issue.

$1500 is not enough for a decent 2br if you rent between sausalito and
larkspur. Actually it's often not enough for a 1br there.
I see your budget, and I will suggest you find a place between San Rafael
and Novato, and we will have one more friendly couple to hang out with.

说实话，只要距离租的地方不远就有一家比较好的川菜馆，一家喝早茶的广东餐馆，一
家好吃火锅店，我就很满足了。

从San Rafael开车到那，12分钟。从Lucas Valley和Larkspur到那，15分钟，从Novato和

For $1500, I think you should be able to find a 2br in San Rafael, and you
might be able to get a small 3br at a so-so neighborhood in Novato. Buying
might be a better option at Novato, since housing price over there has
dropped a lot in the past 3 years.

Marin is a nice area. Living in Novato itself is not bad at all except for a
little bit boring. San Rafael and Mill
Valley both have nice downtown with very good restaurants. Sausalito is the
best but outrageously expensive.
If you can't live w/o Chinese food, you can consider El Cerrito. El Cerrito
hills area is very safe and nice. 30~40
minute commute if you get fasttrack.

就住在NOVATO吧。那里有医院，也有COSTCO。开车去SF DOWNTOWN,RICHMOND都不远，毕
竟买菜又不是天天买。我在NOVATO 住了两年，很安静，也很安全
