刚买的时候挺好的，前一段时间家里没人就把循环关了，结果回来发现鸭子好像经常来
过，撒bleach shock，开循环，结果好像skimmer 方向吸力下降了好多。原来一开就看
到飘的东西都往skimmer 方向去了，现在打开skimmer 的盖子都看不太出来水流，里面
也清理了，没啥东西了，泵的滤网也清理了。还有哪要动呢？我觉得是管子堵了，但怎
么清理呢？管子都在地下。

我心中的真正英雄是通过畅销书而把南京大屠杀介绍到英文国际社会的IRIS CHANG。她
的畅销书引起日本官方的震动，因此受到日本右翼的多次威胁。她计划要再写几本日军
其它罪行的书，包括化学细菌武器等，但多年接触日军罪行证人和资料的过程中，导致
严重精神抑郁，舍弃自己的幼子而自杀。
她写的另一本是关于华人在美国的移民史，每个在美国生活工作及准备移民的中国人及
其后代，都应该一看。IRIS出生在一个UIUC教授的传统天主教家庭。她可以是日军暴行
的另一个牺牲者。
她的贡献是历史的，不朽的。

first, get yourself a skimmer basket. it is just a few $.
second, check your pump, there is typically a leaf basket in the pump and
you need to empty it from time to time. if your pump does not have prime (
circulating water in the full capacity), likely you ahve air in the lines.
You need to stop your pump, open the cap, and pour a bucket of water to fill
the pump/lines, then start your pump again. wait for a min or so, your pump
should run smoothly.
if none of these helps, you may have a broken pump.

forget what I said.
just read your post carefully, apparently, your filter got clogged.
if you stop circulation for a few days in hot days, algae will grow in the
water like crazy. your water will look cloudy, or in the severe case,
greenish.
restart the circulation will collect a lot of algae in the filter, and clog
it easily. you need to backwash (if sand filter) or drain the filter, and
put new filter material (DE filter). You need to do it multiple times until
your water is clean again.
the lesson you should learn: never turn off your circulation during hot
summer. because if you do, it will cost you more to clean up the water (in
the worst case scenario, replace your filter).
