个人的小小经验，也是从前人学来的。
毕业前也开始着急审稿。
就好好准备了自己的 resume， cv， publication list。向各个相关journal 的
edition in chief 和其他editor 谢谢，要审稿机会。
有的回复说同意，有的说需要博士学位。我的回复是帮助老板审过多次，并将在半年
内毕业，希望有机会服务贵刊。
前后发给了几十个 journal。
慢慢的就有审稿机会了，审多了自然会收到比较牛的杂志的审稿邀请。

是以护照上 I94 卡的时间和地点为准吗？最近去过加拿大，F1再入境，护照上只有入境加拿大的一个章，没有任何进出美国的记录。

I know in rman if two database at different location share the same dbid,
rman will consider they are the same database.and in this way, primary
database can be duplicated.
Is there any other usage for DBID?

有没有可能是我的网卡出问题了？
今天换了各地方试验了一下另外一个 wireless, 开始好长时间连不上. wireless 老是
处于 automatic 的状态。平时在家也是经常搜索不到wireless, 搜到之后，99%都处于
automatic 的状态。是不是网卡由问题了呢？谢谢了

物理男，性格内向，言辞笨拙，不善交际。6年前开始了PHD的艰苦历程。无奈跟随一不
如意的老板。老板美国白人，性格乖戾，遇人不善，严于律人，宽以待己，为系里人所
不齿。小的不才，肉眼凡胎，乏有火眼金睛。忍气吞声，乃追随之至今。本人最恶老板

Can I reset the dbid to a desired number in any way?
I have tried dbnewid utility to rest dbid. it works but the number is
randomly picked by the dbnewid utility.

今天公共图书馆用wireless,只有mitbbs能连得上，其他的网站都不行，为什么呢？
开始的几分钟，电脑右下角显示wireless的那个标志，消失了有半个小时。重起电脑大
概有5-6次，才有了。

要是牛校就忍了吧，念了六年，放弃有点可惜。你的背景其实干EE还不错。

现在本人已经得到同校CS系录取，该系催促我如期入学。
你还等什么？等老板幡然悔悟？

program. So I do not want to depart from my boss right now. Is it worth
doing? Is it viable? Thanks a lot!

认识一个女生，核物理PhD三年了，幡然悔悟，转到附近一个赖校读CS了。不怕慢，只
怕站，什么时候开始都不晚。

I spent three years learning math and physics and then switch to software,
and I am not good at computer science at all. But after many many years of
picking it up, it worths it.
In addition, if you are good at physics, it is an advantage to learn CS and
you might find what you've learned greatly boost your research in some area
in CS or CE. If you are from top schools, combined with background in both
CS and physics, I would think Quant is a great choice for you.
