打算给娃去办旅行证，第一次办理，大使馆的网页上要求材料如下：
其中第6条是不是指I-797表啊？是必须的么？ 797正好被拿去办别的事情了，悲催啊
八、为中国公民在美国所生儿童颁发旅行证
（一）适用情形
根据《中华人民共和国国籍法》，父母双方或一方为中国公民，本人出生在外国，
具有中国国籍，前往中国时应申办中国旅行证件。父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在
外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的，不具有中国国籍，前往中国时应申办中国签证。
（二）所需材料
1、如实、完整填写《中华人民共和国护照/旅行证/回国证明申请表》1份（可由儿
童父母代为填写并签名）；
2、近期（半年内）正面免冠彩色半身证件照片（光面相纸）4张。照片尺寸为
48mmx33mm，头部宽为21mm-24mm，头部长度为28mm-33mm，背景为白色或淡蓝色；
3、儿童出生证原件及复印件；
4、父母双方有效护照和其它可证明国籍身份的材料原件及复印件（包括带照片资
料页、曾办理过加注或延期页、来美签证相关页、最后一次离开中国的出境验讫章及入
境美国的入境验讫章页）。如父母一方不在美国境内，须提交其有效护照（或户口本、
居民身份证等）复印件及所在国家居留证件复印件。
5、父母结婚证原件及复印件（如有）；
6、父母双方在美或其他国家居留证件原件和复印件（如有）；这个在美居留证件
原件指啥？SSN卡？还是H1B的I-797表？
7、领事官员根据个案要求申请人提供的其他材料。这个太难预测了。

No offense..not a perfect world. Never can be a win-win game as long as the
demand is higher than the supply.
Good for folks who will be current before the end of this September as they
could get cards a month or so earlier. But not good for the folks right
behind, they may need have to wait for another year because more porting/new
filing 485s are jumping ahead and they will use this year's visa numbers
and even the next year's number in Oct. The later they jump in, the less
chance they will be approved before the end of the year.

Like what I said many times before, people porting from EB3 to EB2 already
have their EB3 PD earlier than EB2 PD, it is not a big deal for EB2 PD
advance several months regarding porting.

system. It is always good for some folks while bad for others because the
supply is limited. Some folks will definetely be delayed (hard to say for
how long) because those portings jump in ahead earlier. It might not be that
bad if the movements advance more evenly throught a year.

I do not understand your logic. The Most SO, the earlier to use them, the
better for all of us. If someone is earlier, they are earlier. That is it.

That reason is our 485s don't get approved as soon as they are submitted (it
may take a couple of months or longer for background check). If those
porting cases are not allowed to get to file 485 untill July or August,it is
very likely they can NOT get approved before Sept 30 (use this year's SO).
But if hey are allowed to get in May/June, there are more chance for them to
get approved because they have two more months for background check so they
could use this year's SO. Again, just wanted to see it is never to be a win
-win game for everyone.

If the porting can not be prevented in this time, these people will do that
eventually anyway, they may be not able to do it this month but will be able
to do it a couple of months later, so the porting will affect EB2C with
later PD anyway. I just do not see that is such a big deal regarding porting
for EB2CI PD to advance a month earlier.

let's put it this way:
0) No doubt that it will be good for EB3->2 porters and those EB2 who missed
the July's fiasco in 2007.
But for those EB2s who are already in line:
1) It is better for folks whose PDs are current and will be current before
this September because they could get the cards one or two months earlier.
2) It is worse for folks who are right later than the cut-off date for this
September, and some might have to wait for another year or so because they
could be current before this September if the porting cases wouldn't be able
to get in line earlier to use this year's SO.
3) No impacts to folks whose pds are much later than the cut-off date for
this September because the porting would happen sooner or later anyway.
Because we don't know how many SOs will be for this year, we can't complain
right now. If there are more SOs than they could handle in the last Quarter
it is ok to use SOs earlier so they don't waste any SOs. But if the SOs are
not that many, I don't think it is good for the folks who fall in the 2)
above and more SO would go to EB-Is.
Anyway, they are several unkowns and I don't know the laws about the SO
reallocation (Don't know if it has to wait till last quarter or can be done
earlier?). But we should know what's going on there why they didn't do SO
earlier last year but this year. I was hoping it is because too many SOs....
Again, just wanted to say again it is never going to be a win-win for
EVERYONE as long as the visa surply is limited.

应该是相当不错了。上回赶上15% off偶的435mt $508 shipped。不过配置简陋多了：
2GB/640GB/HD4350/no 19-in-1 reader
后来加了2G内存，换了HD3650，好在成本控制在了$20。
HD3650不错，不打游戏的话完全够用了。
不过，不要对dell指望太高，偶的这台搭的内存居然是罕见的PC8500 @ 8-8-8-20，害
得我一直找不到匹配的。后来干脆就安心在双通道了，另配一对1Gx2了事。内存最近还
是太贵。
