我在newegg上买了一个ASUS的USB Wireless network adapter，
装在我的台式电脑上，用来接收地区的免费att wireless Internet，
太慢了！简直回到了电话拨号上网的时代！电影是没法看了。浏览网页都很困难！
但是我的另外两台笔记本电脑build in wireless network adapter就很好，
浏览网页和看电影都没问题。
请问是不是USB wireless都这样？
装在我的台式电脑上，用来接收地区的免费att wireless Internet，
太慢了！简直回到了电话拨号上网的时代！电影是没法看了。浏览网页都很困难！
但是我的另外两台笔记本电脑build in wireless network adapter就很好，
浏览网页和看电影都没问题。
请问是不是USB wireless都这样？

你首先要有其他网卡做对比才能确定是网卡不是网络的问题

我N年前买的山寨USB无线卡都能达到几百K的下载速度，显然你的卡有问题

好像是网卡和路由不兼容。前段时间我也是，一个山寨USB网卡，一直只有20kB/s的样子
，其他电脑无线都是200kB/s，
比较有意思的是，它连另一个路由就没问题。
好像是realtec 8188芯片的。网上也有人抱怨。

比较有意思的是，它连另一个路由就没问题。

我最开始在Walmart买了一个D-link的USB无线网卡，也是很慢。
我还以为是D-link的问题，就把它退了，又在newegg上买的Asus的，结果还是不行。
所以我才有这个疑问：是不是usb的无线网卡就是不行？因为我另外两台笔记本都好好
的。
我们这个地区有免费无线网，无线路由就在十几米外的电线杆子上挂着，
att的，不知道是什么路由。也不知道应该买什么usb无线网卡才好。

My usb wireless adapter works slower under linux than under windows XP,
I guess maybe the driver for linux is not good.
