My Saturday Blues
Every Saturday you drive to a place,
You told yourself one thousand times, don’t go, dude,
It’s a drag, It’s a drug, it’s an addition, you got to quit.
But you went anyway, there were plenty excuses,
It’s not hard to find one and you were smart,
or at least you believed so, didn’t you?
She was with somebody else when you met her,
You noticed she was pretty but you didn’t mention it,
You were in the kitchen making some coffee,
You said ‘take some, you’ll stay up all night’,
