What is the sign of being depressed?
I just got out of school, got a job that I do not like too much.
I've got a family, a wife, a daughter.
But our marriage is very shaky. I dont feel happy except for being with my
daughter.
I try to motivated myself. But I could not focus on my work. Worse, I do not
want to work although I know I have to if I want to give my daughter a good
life.
I am thinking about get a big insurance and kill myself.
I do not like my life. I am not living it for myself and I

Yeah, I also encourage LZ to to that.. Form LZ's description, it seems that
he's been feel sad for quite a while, and dealing with complex issues such
as family relationships is really a difficult one. We encourage LZ to seek
more professional help there, though you are quite welcomed here from while
to while. Many ids here are warmhearted, and could provide some emotional
support to you to go through the most difficult time.

你的问题比depressed要严重些。不过也算common middle age crisis。所以不需要太
过担心。
其实意识到问题就已经离得到答案不远了。你自己也说了，你的现实问题主要有：
1。婚姻不幸福
2。工作不满意
这两个都是很严肃很重要的大问题。没有很轻松的解决方案。然后换一个角度，区别一
个人和另一个人的，不是他们面临不同的问题，而是面对同样的问题，他们的态度，心
态，和手段。我想说的是，你的问题绝非你独有，很多其他人也有过，或者正在经历，
你能做而且最应该做的事情，首先是调整你的心态，学会享受生活。哪怕从驻留于路边
的一丛花，一辆跑车，一阵轻风，一个美丽女子开始。其实生活中有不少美好的东西，
最不应该发生的事情就是困扰于生活的负面，生活的现实，而忽略了你自我的需要，审
美的需要，甚至于肉体口腹的需要。不得不插一句，事情可能会完全不同，如果你仍然
能拥有某种理想。这种理想可以小到拍一张大雁飞过天空的照片。但关键是你要有这样
的一种东西支撑你，让你能够投入，能够享乐，能够暂时忘记其余。
你没有说你婚姻的具体问题，但是我比较确信的是，婚姻的lost决对不是单方面的，可

字。
其实我的问题我自己很明白。我的朋友总劝我多想想自己拥有的。是啊，很多人想要一
个家庭，一份工作。更何况我还有一个可爱的女儿。可能是我自己太不知足，总是向往
一些得不到的东西。憧憬的东西太美丽，破碎了，回头才看见自己的失败和生活的冷酷。
也许幸福不是一个主观的感受，所以我应该学会否认自己的感觉，就那么过每一天。

不知足不是坏事, 但是得看向往的事是不是自己能达到的, 这种调整与定位很重要.

what I can tell you is that it could be worse. no matter what happened in
the past, and what is happening in your family, it's not the that bad yet.
killing yourself won't help.
you can consider divorce, consider job change, consider relocation, consider
vacation, and of course, seeing psychologists. every other option is better
than quiting the game named life.

每个人都有郁闷的时候，不同的年纪也会有不同的事情要郁闷。不要想太多了，如果不
喜欢现在的工作，就把它看成是赚钱的一种方式好了，平时有空就做自己感兴趣的事情
。喜欢女儿，就多陪她玩，买漂亮衣服，吃好吃的东西，她开心了你也一起跟着开心不
是？没事的，过了这一段就好了。^_^

有本书 How To Want What You Have (Paperback) by Timothy Ray Miller
可能会对你有用。
有本叫Reinventing your life 。。。的书上作者（是个psychologist）说他们对人的
行为有一些假设，虽然他们不能证明这些假设，他们发现相信这些假设病人更容易恢复
。假设有七八条，我记得的有：人都渴望快乐；人都渴望一些生活的质量，例如being
competent, desired, fulfilled, etc.; changes of behavior can be done in very
basic steps.
You wrote "I am not living it (my life) for myself". 那你是不是有ideas on
how to live your life for yourself but just don't seem to be able to do it?
这和你根本没有生活的目标是不一样的。
建议你看看心理医生，如果保险cover 的化。有一个人可以谈论你的痛苦也是好

你需要一整套全新的价值观,世界观.
首先你需要分析自己的不足之处, 包括在家庭方面.
这些问题当然都不会是单方面的.
工作上建议你分析一下问题的根源, 究竟是工作不合适还是自己期望太高.
不合适就考虑换, 自己期望太高就调整一下, 想想清洁工都怎么过.
当然, 本人是宗教疗法一派的, 以上几个方面都只是表面现象和局部措施.
你根本的问题是发现了自己精神上无法填补的空虚,
以为你不明白自己从那里来, 为什么要作这些.
最后和你分享一段, 你可以体会一下, 看看是不是有很强的精神力量.
