they may be trying to attract more customers...since they have other
businesses such as videos/flowers...i sent mom flowers for her b-day a week
ago...she told me never to do that...since i sent a bunch of carnation costing
$25...the local price is less than 100RMB...hoho...in that case, they do make
money...if one flower order for one magazine order...hoho...besides...they may
be trying to secure the position of sole provider of a magazine in
overseas...so in the future...if you want some magaz

我定过几期读者,每月两期, 每本1美元,折成人民币差不多17元.
而读者在国内每期零售价则是每本三元, 一开始是一个月寄一次,两本合在一起按平价寄
邮费5.4元,所以每月成本总共是11.4员, 这样一来他们每月可以赚大概5.6元.
后来他们每期分开寄,除去多出的5.4元邮费,他们仍然可以赚0.2元.
另外,如果大批量订阅,直接从印刷厂取货,可能还能获取一些中间费用,因此他们怎么都不
会折本.

一期读者质量是很轻的,我受到的时候注意了上面标的邮费确实是5.4RMB.
