I am a postdoc and ld is fresh ph.d.
US offer: ld 85k
Shanghai offer: ld 330k+ my salary 180k.
i do not care my career path too much. my ld's career is the most important
factor we need to consider.
do you think is it worthwhile for us to go back?

就说我老公的offer吧，
美国的offer一个国际化学化工大公司，做一个差不多analytical chemist的一个职位
，在NY STATE.跟老公博士做的东西有点偏。但是做起来也没问题。
上海的offer 也是另外一个国际化学化工大公司，因为我老公做的方面比较偏点，他
们也恰好需要这方面的人。所以他要回去的话，肯定做的东西跟他博士的东西比较像
了。
很多人都劝老公先留在美国锻炼几年，然后再回去。不知道大家看法如何。如果是的
话，什么东西需要锻炼呢？见世面还是长技术知识呢？

就你提供的情况，我可以负责任地说50万一年在上海过小日子是很可以了。但想要做人
上人、出人头地、成为周围人群景仰的对象，后面再加一个零都没可能。至于职场规划
，很多时候人算不如天算。
如果我是你，哪种状况能让现在的你们更幸福就选哪种。

well said, thanks for your comment.
because I do not get used to life in US, I missed China a lot. However,
everyone said that I will be happier if you stay here longer. My ld is
afraid that if we went back, then it will be difficult to go back to US.
The reason why I asked here, just want to know are these two options are
comparable options or one if way better than the other one.
I know we will be happier within two years if we go back, but does not know
whether we regret or not after two years.
It is so much better if we have poll or something, then it will be much
easier to choose.

选定了就按方案走，没有什么可以后悔，因为历史不能假设。
后悔了会影响情绪和做事就会缩头缩脚的。
