这年头做投资的真多, 我现在国内的朋友回国的朋友朋友的朋友, 无数都是搞投资的.
国内如果房地产不行了, 下一个支柱行业一定是金融业了.

同羡慕！我没mba，小硕，7年经验，北京基金公司给底薪40万，奖金不定，但最多50%

Oh really, my company still runs fine, so your theory does not work. I
joined my current company 3 years ago as a senior manager, and before that I
worked at a company that is acquired. I think only idiots make such
allegation without real data in hand. I know at least 5 director level
friends who are around 25 years old, but not Chinese.

This doesn't look too outlandish --- senior associate pay is 160-200k.
Btw, who told you first year senior associate can expect 200% bonus? Without
experience + business results, why do they need to pay that much to entice

Title无所谓，金融公司最低的码工还叫VP呢.

是浮云.

friends who are 40 are CTOs, CEOs, VPs, etc. The best way to work your way
up in a corporation is to join a promising start-up, and then it either goes
public or is acquired by another company. When you cannot be replaced, you
can arbitrage and make credible threat. No matter what it is, don't allege
without credibility, if so, it only shows your innocence and stupidity.

I am a little bit confused. There are couple Chinese in Wharton who will
join renowned PE firm in China. But none of them ever worked in Tech
industry. Are you sure your friend is in PE?

I thought lz's friend worked in a tech company before Wharton, not a PE firm
. Wharton Chinese MBA is a small community, and we know everybody's
placement. As far as I know, no one from tech side crack into VC/PE this
year.
