国内:清华经管助理教授,9万美元
美国:一个私立teaching school,12万美元.
国内清华, tenure system不知道严格不严格执行.
美国, 据说一般最后都给tenure只要教书别太差就行.
请各抒己见

I thought 清华 will come to AFA? So they do not come and already sent offer
now?

If the offer is from a research school or at least a balanced school in USA,
I would suggest she stay.
私立teaching school is not easy to get tenured. First, teaching load could
be high, like 3 + 3; or even 4 + 3; second, teaching requirement is high, as
the students pay high tuition and they are demanding. Third, the school
could still have high standard for research.
To summarize, it depends on her background. If she graduates from a top
school and have research potential, she still can wait for even better
research school offer. If she graduates from a so-so school, I would say -
depending on her preference.
