Faculty Members
Tsinghua University is one of the top universities in China. We recently set
up a Centre for Bio-Inspired Computing Research (CBICR) comprising of
faculties from 7 departments (computer, microelectronics, electronics
engineering, brain science, automation, precision instrumentation, and
materials) and its mission is to promote neuromorphic computing. A number of
faculty positions are available in Center.
Job Description
The qualifications for the faculty position include: an earned doctorate in
Engineering and Science disciplines, such as electrical, computer,
biomedical, physics, mathematics or materials, a strong commitment to
teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a demonstrated record of
excellent research and communication skills. Candidates with industry
experience are welcomed to apply as well.
We invite applications for interdisciplinary faculty appointments at all
levels, with many opportunities available in particular at the Assistant and
Associate Professor levels. Duties include teaching of graduate and
undergraduate students, research, supervision of student research. Faculty
will be expected to develop a strong research program in brain-inspired
computing relevant area. Attractive research grant opportunities are also
available.
