我是绿卡海归，回美证明年5月份过期，想趁年底去美国的时候续了，但是看到有这么
一条：
A Reentry Permit may not be issued to you if:
(1) You have already been issued such a document, and it is still valid,
unless the prior document has been
returned to USCIS or you can demonstrate that it was lost;
如果我等过期了再续，入境就更容易有问题了。不知道续回美证合适的时间点是什么时
候呢？
