high tea party means afternoon tea party...
usually it should tell you in the invitation that how your child should be
dressed for the tea party...because different tea party might have different
themes.
usual gift would do, although cookies or tea time dessert are welcome too (
make it small in portion).
and google "tea party etiquette" before you go because manner is the most
important thing in tea party...
