BritPop作为非主流音乐形式包过一些比较有名的乐队Blur, Oasis，the verve,
Radiohead和现在很红的Coldplay. 和britpop相对应的是美国的grunge sound，包括
Nirvana, Alice in chains。
可以比较一下Coldplay的X&Y

haha，果然有beautiful ones。suede我最喜欢的一首。
coldplay虽然不错，不知道怎的就是喜欢不起来

Coldplay已经很主流了，oasis也是。早期的Britpop是很讲究吉他应用，受朋克影响很
大，这和grunge sound相通。

哈哈，当年俺最爱的britpop啊，从第一张Suede，然后狗人星，coming up, head
music... 再后就出国了，解散后还follow了一阵子the tears, Brett Anderson 的两
张个人专辑，总算又熬到重组了。Brett Anderson 是怎一个妖字了得啊。
90年代中期的那些英伦乐队都是那么风格鲜明的，suede, pulp, oasis, blur, james,
gene，早些的 the smith... 相比起来 coldplay 一点儿britpop的影子都没有，歌曲
还媚俗的很。
