全世界网虫首次联手寻找外星人
美国行星学会１４日发表一项声明，呼吁因特网上
的天文爱好者一起来寻找地外文明。
美国行星学会开展这项工程名为"寻找地球以外的
智能"（ＳＥＴＩ），将于５月１７日开始在因特网上
免费提供一个特殊程序。天文爱好者下载这个程序后，
便可以在电脑的空闲时间里分析由射电望远镜收集的无
线电信号。世界上的任何人不论在什么地方，只要拥有
一台电脑并同因特网相连就可以帮助寻找地外文明。只
要进入下面的两网址之一Ｈｔｔｐ:／／ｐｌａｎｅｔ
ａｒｙ·ｏｒｇ或ｈｔｔｐ:／／ｓｅｔｉａｔｈｏｍ
ｅ·ｓｓｌ·ｂｅｒｋｅ－ｌｅｙ·ｅｄｕ，电脑就会
自动下载无线电信号，然后在数据中搜寻有趣的信号。
分析完成后，数据会自动回到ＳＥＴＩ总部，然后再通

when I was in college, in the course of 'data security',
prof told us that it's best to make use of all the computing
resources in the Internet to complete the security attack,
now this kind of idea come true, but just to a different stage,
alien hunting. :)
I wish there is really alien could be found.
Then I'll have more interest to read Ni Kuang's novels.
