从原文看，银河帝国的首都是Trantor，音译应该是“川忒”。
看精华区中译为“特朗多”，te-lan-do，好象是日本人的读法，
他们一向把"tr"读作"te-l"。这是怎么回事？

I think mainland's translation is "塔兰多", or something like that.
It's in SciFi World's Asimov introduction and the translation of
Pebble In The Sky.

还是不明白。 "塔兰多"同样是把“tran”给发成"ta-lan"?
和日本鬼子的发音一样。

我看到过“川陀”的翻译，现在精华区里都是这个译法吧。

我觉得以前看那个台湾版的“川陀”挺不错的，除了音近
以外，还有些感觉。
不过那些人名一律翻成中文名实在有点怪怪的，象谢东老
让我觉得是一文革红卫兵头儿的说。

It sounds/looks ugly, and doesn't sound like the name for
a place, let alone the capital of a star empire.
