The SciFi books that I'd recommend to beginners:
Foundation Trilogy (by Issac Asimov)
-- Classical, legendary series in the whole sci fi history
Ender's Game (by Orson Scott Card)
-- Well written stories. Don't read plot spoilers before you
begin this book.
Dune (by Frank Herbert)
-- Needs your attention and focus when reading. You have to
keep thinking deep all the time.
A Fire upon the Deep (by Vernor Vinge)
-- Another well written story. G

plot spoiler是指能揭示情节进展的任何介绍和评论.
Ender's Game的结局出人意外, 震撼人心, 但你如果
事先已经大概知道结局, 读的时候效果就弱了很多.
