它确实是温泉，有的地方还挺烫。这荒山秃岭里面有这么一条小溪，旁边有这么几眼常
年出水的温泉，还真有点稀奇。Bowen Ranch 的主人说，自上个世纪70年代他们从美国
政府手里免费得到这块土地试用开发以来，他们尝试过耕种、畜牧等等，都以失败告终。
如今这块山地上依然只有稀稀拉拉的灌木丛和joshua tree，而山里的这几眼温泉却成了
宝贝，不断有远郊近邻的人慕名而来，每人$5（$10overnight camping）也是这里的唯
一收入来源。
温泉热气蒸腾，它“门前”的小溪却是冰冷刺骨，加上山岩阴影下的阵阵冷风，几乎成
了我们无法逾越的巨大障碍。泡完温泉以后还要再这么折腾一番，让我在回来的路上只能
祈祷大家都不要感冒。不过这种冷热交替的刺激可能还真有舒筋活血的功能，回来时有一
种很舒适放松的感觉。

OMG!!! Anna Melnikova? at the show yesterday, I was just telling my
friends how I prefer Stefano and Anna's show to Slavik and Hanna's...Stefano
and Anna's show was fun, entertaining and energetic. I was honestly a bit
bored by Slavik and Hanna's...true that Slavik is probably the best male
dancer, but for some reason, he always seems to suppress his partner's
expression instead of bringing out her best potential. Maybe girls were
intimidated or Slavik was just too powerful?

Just watched a bit anna on youtube. last year i watched her, i did not quite
like her, and got influenced by some comments that she dances like carmen,
who i found boring. now i watched the recent 2008 clips, she has improved
quite much. basics are solid and styling is beautiful. (i really feel hanna'
s styling is a bit outdated). more important, she dances out, starting to
reveal her own character. she has a little balance problem, though, which
shows in each of the 4 clips i watched - it looks

i think i like her more than maria or melinda, although the latter has more
maturity in their dancing. but most important, she is young; can improve
fast with a top pro. so picking the no.1 amateur actually is not a bad
choice from slavik. her fresh energy can get slavik excited and dance
himself out. i actually feel this is probably going somewhere...

this is a good move though, anna's style is probably the closest to karina's.

she's fierce
can't agree more with your last comment. slavik is finally doing
sensible things. though i don't know if it's a good move for anna.

totally agree! she definitely reminded me of Karina yesterday. for Slavik,
there's nothing to lose. He seems a bit desperate to me now. For Anna, it'
s a bit risky...and i like her current hair style much better than the
mushroom top =) Stefano and Anna just won ISDF amateur champion title last
year and were still doing shows together...ballroom partnership is so
dynamic...haha, yesterday, when Stefano was introducing themselves, he was
saying US is a warm friendly country, just like where h

oh, i forgot this. very much true
what i meant was that though slavik is probably still the best man
on earth, his career is going downward.
the short partnership with elena and even a shorter one with hanna
just show that he doesnot have the soundest judgement.
i wonder how many people would still take him really seriously.
And not to mention he's not young.
on the other hand, anna's partnership with stefano is on an express
elevator. on the absolute scale, yes, slavik is better than stefano.

no idea...it was from you that i heard they got married...
the dating rumor was from some youtube comments (the id says he/she can not
disclose who the amateur is).

yeah that mushroom haircut reminds me of carmen - i like the new style much
better.
Very interesting thoughts. I actually think the opposite to what you and
musique commented. i think there is nothing to lose for anna but it is risky
for slavik.
she'll from no.1 amateur to pro - which is a sooner or later thing for her.
dancing with the no.1 pro guy will boost her name remendously - that will
get her noticed among numerous lady dancers, and will help her find the next
guy. her path will resemble

anna was a star since she's very little. shirley's pupil, shirley's
"adopted" son's partner. and a true promising amateur champion that
we haven't seen in years. the several past ones had all been waiting
in the cue for people ahead of them to turn pro. that's how they got
the title. but not the case for anna. she's already very much noticed
and strong on her own.

not just stability. potential too.
she's different from oxana or yulia. she's fast upcoming and accomplished
by herself. and stefano is very strong too.
if anna is to have a better partner, i'm secretly hoping sergey surkov.
that'd be a very dynamic and powerful duo.

your maryland coach's son's partner dances a little bit like anna, from my
rough impression).
somebody commented on the sergey melia partnership - probably your secret
hope cannot come true (are they married? i think they are)

i like karina more than anyone.
for now i like yulia better than anna.
i don't think natasha very similar to anna. but the looks are similar,
body type, hair color, eye color etc
My coach's son is a big fan of stefano, absolutely his favorite among
the younger dancers.

i know i know...karina is my all time favorite, too. her recent pic shows
she is a blond now.
very impressed with your knowledge about the dance world. had a great time

Can't agree more!! Anna/Sergey will just be like a reviving Katria/Slavik,
but young and fierce~~
BTW, has Shirley coached Anna? did she pair up Anna and Stefano? hahaha, I
start to think she likes Italian

luis在和她跳之前是她的coach
paul当时已经是top pro, 她还是amateur.
slavik train她不大对吧
她当时已经有世界第二pro的title，slavik是第一amateur
ranking上还是有点差距
而且两人老吵架，很难相信slavik trained他呀
