I guess you will need an IEEE1394 port in your computer,
and an IEEE1394 cable to connect your DV and computer.
basically, 4 pin 1394 in DV and 6 pin in 1394 PCI card or PC card.
for software, either ulead videostudio or adobe premire works.
make sure you have enough hard drive space for the captured file.
basically you need ~15GB for a 60 mins tape.
after the capture, convert the file format and burn VCD with nero.
