As I’ve noted on many earlier occasions, a lot of the best content on this
blog are reader contributions via their comments. If I were you, I’d be
looking at some of the comments to the more “strategic” articles as there
’s usually one or two comments that are really insightful.
This week, in response to my “Commercializing Web 2.0: Hype vs. Reality”
article, I received what has been to

The article is zz from onstartups.com
I think it is good article, even I don't completely agree with author's
opinion on web 2.0, I do applause for his comment "it's innovation that wins
".
I had a kinda long talk with one of my classmate today on similar topic. To
my knowledge this friend of mine is probably the first person "invented" ez
card reader for copying game to gameboy - a once really popular handhold
game device. He made pretty handsome money by doing that. I think his first
business

I'm actually thinking the other way around:
It does NOT matter if you are the inventor / innovator or the copier, it only matters
how good you are when running a business. An inventor who runs business in a
less efficient way will lose, so will a whole bunch of copiers. Thus, being
an inventor only gives you a couple of months of advantage, and that's it.

advantage.
