本版新人，刚开始学习。查了一下好像还是没太明白
上一份工作有个PD 15/08 eb2 140, 后来跳到新公司，最近律师通知说eb2的perm 过
了。
我是应该继续file eb2 140 ? 好像没什么用？还是relink 降级eb3 ?

按照eb2的要求做的perm要先file eb2,将来再降级eb3... 所以还是要file 两遍140..

多谢回复，我之前的140不是niw的，公司帮申请的。然后换个了工作。就看有没有必要
再申一个eb3 or eb2的140。或者就直接等，然后降级relink第一个140 ?

Sorry. if you haven't submit 485 before changing your job, you have to get
another 140 from the current employer for your green card application (
unless you plan to go back to the prior employer after your get green card).
So in general, you can keep your priority date from your 1st 140, but you
cannot relink your 485 to it after changing the employer.
Now your new EB2 perm is certified, you can choose to file an EB3 140 or an
EB2 140. In most cases, you get EB2 140 approved first and then file another
EB3 140 based on the EB2 perm.

Thanks for your clarification. Looks like I'd better to get the eb2 i-140
in my current employer and wait to see if downgrade to eb3 is necessary or
not. In either case, it would take quite some time before the filing date
reaches my earliest PD.
