red line - Gas price
blue line - Crude price
VLO also happened to bottom out about 3 month ago, which is not co-incident.
the difference in Gasoline price and crude price is refiner's margin. I'm
hoping WNR can follow the footstep.

bro, latest news from frontline: Chevon plans to cut 5000 position in
downstream sector in the coming 6 months.
I ever worked for downstream, refinery, in KBR, now I switch to upstream,
crude oil producer.

我最近看了一篇报告,确实讲refinery有机会,但是都是trading的机会
因为是中游,所以很容易被挤压
因而不太好控制,现在有机会,可能3个月后就反过来了

This is scary.
In the different thread, why you said " I know one thing for sure, second
half of 2010 OR FIRST HALF OF 2011, EPC engineering firms will bounce back
huge, because major companies are hiring at that moment"? It looks
contradicted between each other threads.
Or you mean these companies already cut many jobs in the past year and now
have big projects come in?

Those big EPC firms get projects from Africa, Mideast not local
refinery clients such Chevron, VLO, EXXON...
the projects include LNG plants, not limited to refinery.

TA 上 CVI 和 WNR 哪个现在好些？

CVI looks like accumulating strength to push through 10. nice looking chart
also. WNR however has just bottomed, more upside potential but the course
will be rockier.

thanks. i had CVI before and sold it. now thinking of getting it back or
buying WNR. the only concern now is the position of 大盘。
Can u take a look at PDC as well? Not refinery section though.
