现在一个学校做postdoc, contract 还有两个月就结束了。我现在的状态是h1b， 所以
需要新的雇主支持h1b。 弱问一下，现在找工业界的工作是不是太晚了，名额早就用完

是否情况不妙？我总有种感觉这种ER大机构可能事先已经知道了，只是装装样子，把散
户的钱套走。

是的，今年的已经用完了
需要明年四月一号申请，十月一号生效，如果抽签抽中的话

不用担心，只要找雇主做H1 transfer就好了。全年什么时候都可以做。

他是nonprofit的H1B，转工业界的需要占那个8.5万的名额，今年用完了

i heard of, just heard, if you have a VERY good attorney, you might be able
to transfer from nonprofit to industry h1b directly. i dont know...
