no. The fundies have been heavy short on EUR/AUD. They are forced to cover
the past 2 days. You can tell by the rise of EUR at the same time. EUR has
probably become the funding currency of carry trade now.

AUD is fundamentally weak. It is partially due to some EUR/AUD short
unwinding, but still, I am looking for AUD/USD to go as low as 0.75.

in Oct 2008, EUR/AUD moved up 3000 pips. By that the current move is only 60
% done.
But I can't help just loading size AUD at .8080s just now. Just target .815
in asian hours.

it's likely. part of AUD strength is due to expectation of CNY revaluation.
Now it looks quite remote.
