1) How long does it take to drill a new well?
2) the location is 5000 feet deep, could they apply the fast-curing concrete
into such deep location?

漏油已经绕过 Cuba 和 Florida 了， 估计马上就到中国去了。。。哈哈

thy can use underwater caisson foundation that was widely used for skyscrapers...
Not necessarily fill the hole from top to the bottom. All we need is a
friction plug..
The fresh concrete can be delivered by conveyors such as high pressure pipe...

其实，政府和bp都有责任。
刚刚一开始漏油的时候，应该是多管齐下来控制漏油：1）打泄压井，2）插管，3）水
面控制漏油，4）其他方法等等。这样，几个方法同时开工，开始做，其中哪个方法成
功控制了漏油的话，其他方案则自行终止。
最保险的方案，就是打泄压井。但是这种方案的时间和周期最长。
而政府和bp实际上，用的是找简单的方法来控油，结果，a方案实施后，发现不行，然
后再上b方案，实施后发现还是不行，于是再上c方案，实施后，发现还是不行，于是上
d方案。。。。
结果，所有时间都耽误了，原油漏点越来越多，漏洞越来越大，越来越难控制了，生态
灾难越来越大了，损失越来越大。。。

most civil/structural engineers in USA oil companies sucks.. they just talk and bluffer.. some really are good, but very small amount.
I think they really need to consult top engineers in big design institues in China. Those old guns are experienced with many situation like this

看到沿海地区防止拦阻坝挡油
为啥不围绕平台放置一个大的拦阻坝？我觉得多少可以减缓一下扩散速度
却要放到沿海滩涂地区？

这次就看bp怎么收场了。
政府目前只是喊口号，要bp尽快堵上原油泄露。毕竟目前政府还是有求于bp。
等到今后bp把漏油点堵上了，没有泄露了。政府就要开始向bp秋后算账了，没有安全操
作罚款、环境污染赔款、事故清理费用等等，还有今后那些沿海居民、渔民向bp提请的
经济损失赔偿（工作、收入、旅游收入等等民事赔偿），这些全部加上去，bp能不能够
survive还很难说。。。

不是你想像的这么简单，原油泻露后，会与海水混合，并不是简单的一下子全都直接跑
到漏油点的海面。自己去google一下吧
