Intelligent Fusion Technology (IFT) is a Research and Development (R&D)
company focused on information fusion technologies from basic research to
industry transition and product development and support. IFT is located in
Germantown, Maryland. We are working on modeling, control, communication,
signal/image/speech/text processing, security, autonomy, and decision making
in networked systems. We are looking for talented developers majoring in
engineering (e.g., EE, ME, AE), computer science, applied mathematics, and/
or physics to join our multidisciplinary team as full-time employees or
interns.
In particular, this intern position requirement is as follows:
1. Required experiences/techniques
o Unstructured text preprocessing such as parsing, tokenization, and
phrase/entity recognition
o Graphical semantic representation for text understanding
o Social media data mining
o Social structure behavior detection
o Semantic search
o Natural language processing
o Matlab and C/C++ programming
2. Experiences/techniques that will be plus
o Multi-INT data fusion
o Speech recognition and associate open source toolkits such as CMU
Sphinx
o Deception detection
o Hadoop, MapReduce, and BigData
o Could computing
3. Start time: As soon as possible
