Job Description: Identify and drive performance improvement opportunities
from collecting data by testing complex software in systems software,
software development tools, applications. May work directly with companies
developing and optimizing databases, middleware, Java applications,
operating systems, and other software technologies. Usually holds an
academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational
Science.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: -
Problem-solving skills - Ability to multitask - Excellent written and verbal
communication skills - Ability to work in a dynamic and team oriented
environment
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered
for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your
school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship
experiences.
Candidate should have a MS or a PhD or in Computer Science, or other science
/engineering related field. Candidate must have 6 months of industry or
academic experience in three of the following areas: - Statistics - Computer
Architecture and Compiler Technology - Performance of Distributed Systems,
Private and Public Cloud - Java Performance - Workload Characterization
