Scottrade said I cannot use those money from execution of my covered-calls
last Saturday. They said I must wait until tomorrow (Tuesday). Is it normal?
Again I cannot do any operation again today.
Scottrade is really bad. 强烈建议大家不要再用 Scottrade!

execution等于是交易了吧,就要等SETTLE的.我比你还惨,银行MONEY DEPOST
非要我等CHECK CLEARED,明明是银行打通了,银行
BALANCE上的钱多的很,还要我等CHECK CLEARANCE.
周五就转过去了

If you use Money Direct, it will be availabe on the same day.
BTW, which broker are you using, gejkl? Thanks.

It looks very suspicious to me. Seems Scottrade does not want us to trade
today.
Once, 在一个大跌的日子，I also cannot use Money Direct in Scottrade. I
called them; they said their service was down on that specific day. So when
it is a good time to buy/sell, Scottrade does not want us to have any
operation.
Like Shorting a stock, when it is good to short, you always cannot borrow
stock from Scottrade. When it is a bad situation, it is very easy to borrow
stock. So be cautious with Scottrade.

也可能是因为周五我有一个FREE RIDE,周一SETTLE的一个股票,我周五
MONEY DIRECT就直接强行买了,当时就说我
RESTRICTED了,不过我还是买了,可能今天被PUNISHED了
