If I bought one company A's stock call 0.5 @15 (current price is 10) on Jan 2012,
company B purchased company A at $12 per share. How is my option?

a conversion ratio will be calculated based on the M&A term by adjustment
panel( resentatives from options exchanges and OCC).
However, sometime it is complex and you may be asked for delivering
fractional shares/closing some position).
