I just came back from China with my 9 months old son last week, will share
some of my experience with you. When take off and landing, make sure your
baby is sucking on something, pacifier or bottles. If he fall asleep (my son
did for all landing and take off), then just let he sleep, if you want you
could help him cover his ear with jacket hat or your hand.
Make sure you bring enough formula with you to the plane. The security will
let you take enough formula (I took the liquid kind) with you to flight. You
might need to open one bottle for them to smell it.
Since your son is only 4 months, depending on how long you gonna stay in
China, you might want to start bring some rice cereal (solid food) with you
for your stay in China.
I took a light-weight stroller with me, didnt use it much. Since your son is
only 4 months, I will suggest you to bring a carrier, which is easy to use
^^
hum..if you are using powder formula, make sure you buy those "spring water"
from China and get one of those "keep warm water bottle" at your house that
helps you boil the water and keep it warm when plugged ^^ don't trust the
water quality in China =P
Other than that should be pretty ok lor (sorry, cant type Chinese at work,
hope you understand.)
My son didn't really have jetlag when we went back, but after we came back
from China..oh boy, up middle of the night and need to play for few hours
before going back to sleep..he was such a angel back then ....good luck to
your traveling ^^
