I have a few questions regarding transferring ROTH IRA from one institution
to another. Your answer is appreciated.
I am try to close my ROTH IRA account at Bank of America and move all the
securities and cash to Vanguard. But I am not sure what will happen to all
the securities and mutual funds. Let us say I have 1000 issues of BAC and $
1000 of SP500 index fund, and I want to keep those positions after the
transfer. Is this possible? Shall I give instructions to BOA or Vanguard so
that they do not sell my issues?
