Although I stil expect AAPL can come back or even make new high when the
next quarter comes, AAPL's future is not very bright.
The main reason is that the smartphone and tablet's markets are getting
saturated. Unless AAPL can come up with a new line of product, it will not
go anywhere.
A little history: AAPL get first boost to sell ipod and dominate the MP3
market.
Then AAPL get second boost to sell iphone and dominate the smartphone
market.
Then AAPL get third boost to sell ipad and dominate the tablet market.
Now what next? Apple TV? I do not think so.

aapl并没有dominate smartphone market.
是媒体对apple的狂热，让大家这么觉得。
当然不看好aapl能超过android, 基本做个side cake 是苹果最好的角色。

手机明年Windows Phone 7会随着Nokia量产，大大增加竞争力。
Tablet如果Windows 8能在明年中下旬出货，iPad未来增长就基本没戏了。

43% android, 20%多是apple,怎么可能是apple dominate.

同样的操作系统啊。只不过X86和ARM各一个版本啊。就像Angry birds,同一个游戏，
iphone, 安猪上都有。Another big time failure from MSFT, IMHO.

AAPL are selling 80 millions iphones in a year and 30 millions ipads in a
year. Do you still expect these numbers can keep jumping like past few years
. This is what I mean about saturation. Please remember the earth only has

不要乱讲。
Win8 for ARM 上面当然可以运行 for x86的 application,就像现在x64 机器上可以运
行x86的application是一样的。
当然反过来是不行的，Win8 for x86上面不能运行ARM 的application.要运行需要重新编译一个for x86的版本，很简单，用Visual Studio 的话换个configuration rebuild一下就好。

我算过，tablet上iPad的销量也就是和netbook的销量差不多。
笔记本和台式机的销量是iPad的十倍，Windows 8出来，既可以允许在PC和笔记本上，
也可以运行在X86和ARM版本的Tablet上，基本是一剑封喉，ipad能活多久不好说，
android估计是立马就死了。

然也。
除非它下面连续两个新产品线(iCloud,iTV... or whatever)都搞砸了，旧产品线(iPod
,iPhone,iPad)又过时了，才会像NFLX那样暴跌。
短期内不会有这种情况。

APPL还有一年好日子。
两大核心产品. iPhone现在就有Android竞争，明年Nokia和其他厂家的Windows 7
Phone也会加入竞争，竞争更加残酷，价格优势没法保存。iPad，Windows 8出来基本没
法竞争，这是路线问题，iPad界面做的再Cool，功能上也没法和Windows 8比。更何况
还有tablet商业用户，因为应用的关系，基本都会投到Windows阵营。

嗯。Win8我也是很期待的，属于game changer一档的。
微软这次想要PC, tablet, phone通吃，就是不知道胃口有没有这么大。
想到tablet我就来气。03年我就用Windows的tablet了，丫微软楞把这个方向做死掉了
。非等AAPL把市场作出来再跟进。说微软缺乏创新能力是有道理的。

Phone 不太容易。不过明年Android，iPhone和Windows Phone 7的三足鼎立局面会成型
，Windows Phone属于比较弱的一足。
但如果Windows Phone能把它在低频率CPU上也能流畅运行的优势，加以充分发挥，搞出
大量极其廉价的智能手机，情况又会不同。
Tablet的情况和2008年netbook有点类似，当时netbook 90%都是运行Linux，一年之间
就消失了。iPad没有那么脆弱，但最多能有Mac OS X和PC类似的市场份额。毕竟手机OS
用在tablet上，功能比完整的桌面OS差的远了。
