You need to prepare and decide how to seperate income on 1099 to each quarter, and pay the tax QUARTERLY (in advanced, ahead of 4/15/next year).
Because you KNOW the change of income in advanced --- same as when you get bonus you pay the tax associated with bonus immediately.
