Naming policy of Apple: when the appearance of the new gen is identical
to the old gen, then at most it will add an affix like "s" to the existing name.
So far, I didn't see much exterior difference between the new iPad and the
iPad 2. So I highly doubt Apple will name it as iPad 2s or iPad 2 HD.
Such name may reveal the less revolutionary nature of the upgrades (A5X and
retina) and it could downbeat customers' expectation.
Due to this reason, AAPL will face strong selloff after the announcement. A drop
to the 500 level should be reasonable in the first few legs. Second wave of
selloff may happen after analysts mark down expected sales of the so-called
iPad 2s or 2 HD.
So Apple investors should be really cautious on March 7th. Using your buffer
to buy some call rather than holding the stocks, if you are still bullish
