我觉得占用资金小，几千块就能买十几万的portfolio。剩下的钱可以吃吃喝喝
比stock风险小。把能输得钱放进去，顶多外婆，过两天再放进点。虽然贵了点，但毕
竟position的钱都是at risk的，stock一次crash比options贵多了
刺激。每天上下5%。回去买股票都没意思了。

the risk is both large and small.
The risk is small:
If you plan to buy 100 shares of a stock, say price 50. Then your cost is $
5000. You may loss all $5000 in the worse case. If you buy a deep in the
money call, say strike 45, you may only pay $6, so your cost is 600. In the
worst case, you lose at most 600. In that sense, the risk is very small,
compared to buying stocks.
The risk is large:
In the same setting as above, if you buy 10 contracts, your cost will be
6000.
If the stock goes down to 45, then you would lose all 6000. Of course, if
the stock goes up, you will make a lot of money.
It's very easy to play large positions in options---we are greedy. If you
just play small positions, I'd say options are much safer than stocks,
especially when you buy PUT options instead of shorting stocks. Shorting
stocks can lose infinity, but buying put is safe.
