Yes, the business itself is a hype, and the notion of social networking and
web 2.0 is overly inflated; FB did not make any key technological innovation. Thus it is not looking good in short term.
In the long run, I still think FB has huge potential. One key advantage is
TALENT: with some best and smartest people in its force, as long as
Zuckerberg finds the right direction to embark on, real value will start
emerging.

Yes, no more than a workforce. Isn't it all that is needed to be successful,
assuming a strong and intelligent leader? Isn't that MSFT's and GOOG's
success model? You don't need a thousand geniuses to build an empire.
I'm not saying MZ is necessarily the right leader. Even if he is, he's got
to see the right directions to put his resources into use. If FB sticks to
the social network plus ads model, it won't last very long.
