I don't know about before, but the current HP notebooks are of decent

那个logo值$800，OSX和win 7等价，考虑其封闭性但是使用了BSD kernel。

其实也不是， 别看那些spec都一样，但apple买配件的时候， 都要nominal的部件，hp
可能+- 3 sigma都接受。 质量控制和稳定性都不一样的。 要不你怎么不去买gateway
呢，他spec据高还便宜，但用的cpu什么可能都在3个sigma的边上。

mac book pro is indeed the best one, no competitor.

All fonts look so much better on Mac. Key board feels better. Very stable
system. Mine hasn't crashed once for 10 months. Native UNIX command line
support. The list goes on. Oh, did I mention it's a chick magnet?
