因人而异。我认识的一个个案去年送出5磅糖，今年买了20磅，一小时后全部送出，人
来得哗哗地。。。

这是普遍现象。经济变差了。
不光要糖的少了，连party上donate的人都少了。
要糖的少了和油价高也有点关系。

按我的经验，
以前大部分的孩子，都是家长开着车去富人区要糖。
今年油价高，经济不景气，很多孩子可能就在本地要糖了。
babycrynot是realter，住的房子应该是在弯曲的富人区。

rich and generous is not the same thing.
If the poor family drive their kids to the rich community, they probably
will dispointed.

The rich community is not a good place for trick-or-treat. They live in big
houses and occupy a huge area. The kids need walk a long distance from one
house to another. The middle class community is the best place. The houses
are very close to each other.

It is not where the rich live, they usually go where the most ppl live.
Some rich kids even drive down to our community to trick or treat. We have
thousands houses cluster togather.

(1) 是有成群结队到某一区要糖的。有到相当条件的区的，有到好一些区的。好一些区
的糖好，交通好，环境安全，所以可以理解家长带孩子去那些区。
（2）小孩子只是关心糖和热闹，没有太多自卑感。
（3）人多人少和经济没有太大关系。不要想太多，或按照自己预想设计的框框来想。
（4）住apartment的稳定性差，不如住成熟社区的喜欢保持传统。如果是住apartment
，每年变化大些也正常。

I think they should have something to do with the economy.
If the economy is good, the parents are happy and love to purchase costumes
and
willing to go out with kids to trick or treat.

If they live in houses, they definitely can afford some candies la.
The ppl going other communities may not be poor, they probably live in
apartment, you cannot do trick or treat in an apartment.

如果经济不好，对节日的消费会有影响。比如感恩节的采购，圣诞节的旅游，等等。
对于一个开两步车，买几件衣服，要点糖的节日来说，就别想太多了。。。
