bad, think again.
I just saw someone used altered HIV virus to treat leukemia.
HIV virus is very good at getting in to every parts in the body , they let
Altered HIV virus to carry some drug, so far the results is unbelievable
encouraging. They saved the life for several kids.
Altered HIV virus will not cause any harm to the body.

gene therapy
years ago a professor at upenn used gene therapy on a girl and the girl died
of the treatment. the professor was then banned from carrying this kind of
research anymore.

链接？是灭活过的病毒还是人工合成的外壳？听起来两者都不安全啊，不过Leukemia也
就是死马当活马医了，死在病毒和死在化疗下面都差不多

On TV, I think it's in Europe. They showed a 4 years old after the treatment.
I was so impressed by the news, it makes sense.

不知道你们看的新闻是怎么说的，但我想大概说的是Lentivirus。HIV 属于Lentivirus
的一种，用lenti virus转基因效率非常高。很多基因治疗的临床试验都用到它们。原
因很简单：通过进化，它最拿手的就是将基因转到动物细胞体内。适者生存么。
但是这些virus 已经经过改造，所以并不致病。
打个比方：
有个强盗很会撬锁（侵入细胞），警察学会了他的撬锁技术，但是用来救人。
