got an email from IT department this morning
All –
There is a known bug in the latest IOS upgrade. Apple IOS 6.1 has a bug that
can cause an exchange server email enabled phone/tablet attempt to connect
to the server hundreds of times a minute. This can cause performance issues
on the email system
So far we have not seen any instances of this yet, however if you are being
prompted to upgrade to 6.1, please DO NOT UPGRADE.........................
