without online gambling, yes, znga is hopeless.
but now with NV and NJ (today) both approved interstate gaming (can take
players from worldwide too), there is a huge market.
back before 4/15/2010 (so called "black friday" when FBI shut down
pokerstars and fulltilt), they take more than half of their players from the
u.s., and it's a multi-billion industry.
and it was only poker, not including other casino games which are much
bigger.

i think this is legitimate. I am thinking about buying some znga, but not a
lot for sure. The only think i am concerned is, i don't trust znga's
management....If management is bad, you can't even catch the pie dropped
from sky...

it's a valid concern but for myself, i only care about the huge potentials
for now or at least mid term.
they have a partnership with casino giant bwin.party. partypoker was the #1
poker site before 2006 or when UIGEA act was introduced. they quit U.S.
market right after and pokerstars/fulltilt took over everything "illegally"
until FBI shut them down. partypoker even paid U.S. gov $300 millions in
fine (of course in anticipation of future legal return to the U.S. market).
now pokerstars (the biggest poker site) bought fulltilt (and its bad ass
debts), but they are banned in NV because their shitty business between 2007
-2012.
this gives bwin.party a good shot becoming the biggest site in the U.S.
again, and a big boost to znga.
pokerstars is working on something in NJ at the same time.
and all above is only about poker, NJ's bill is about all games.
online gaming + user base/mobile (znga's strength) is a big deal.
