be honest, i don't like it. It does show some signs or at least it is
suspicious that management is trying to dig money out of company. Of course,
xin could still be real and management was just trying to get some free pie
. But it ruined their credibility. I just sold all my shares, still made
some money but really no need to step in muddy water even there is a slight
piece of evidence pointing to fraud on a small chinese company.

第一次推荐这个，就冒事了。
我以前最担心的也就是这个。没有查到消息来源。

thanks the information.
I actually did not add anything after I noticed they did not purchase any
shares in the forth quarter last year.
No question, this company is making money, but how much do they care the
shareholder is another question.

前段时间不是说增加了股息么，现在暴跌了又说不care了

看上去很危险，我恨担心现在还不卖Xin，会将站在高高的山岗上。

In the third quarter last year, they spent around 3 million dollar for stock
dividend and spent around another 3 million dollar for stock purchase.
In the forth quarter, they increased the dividend, so they paid out 4
million for stock dividend but spent zero for stock purchase. So divdiend
increased meant nothing to me.
I voiced my concern on this every time people asked my the opionion about
XIN over the last two months.

Before 4th quarter, they purchased their stock every quarter.
In theory, the company's book tangable book value is over $10, so why they
stopped purchase the stock at $5?
Don't get me wrong, I am still holding some shares, I simply did not add any
shares after their 4th quarter report.

common sense wise, i don't think xin has conspiracy to dig out money. But
they do have a dilemma that they make so much money but their management has
limited way to benefit from it since their stock still couldn't make big
shot. Their management (say their CEO Zhang Yong) can't sell their shares
because that would be disaster for their stock. They also feel reluctant to
add dividend now which I don't blame. So they figured out this way trying to
benefit their management. Well, I can understand it, but indeed no need to
hold stocks especially at this point market is so high plus chinese housing
has more and more uncertainty.
but on the other hand, I guess xin would address this in their next ER or
they may declare addition of dividend. Either way, as long as xin keeps its
current dividend amount, I still think xin's risk/reward is attractive, but
to me, I don't want to put myself in even a slightly fraud-risky situation.
For chinese stocks, my trading order is ntes>sohu=tencent.
