My guess, with QE tampering,
US dollar more valuable/tight supply => money outflow from other countries
in exchange of US dollar => gold sold by other countries in exchange of
money reserve => money outflow from gold;
Bond price drop/yield up => bond is more attractive => money inflow to bond;
Ideally, money out of gold should support bond price not to drop too much.
The key is that gold price needs to drop more rapidly than bond price. We
will see.

china wants even lower gold prices so it can buy more.

你可以查看 fed total asset 这周反而比上周低
显然不是印钱导致的
