是不是如果经济不好，账上的钱也跟着变少？

529里还有很多种的，具体的包括抵税额度各个州不一样，你得自己做research

是投资的一种。有些州免州税。

529 has some unique flexibility that you can use to fund the education of
not just your kids, but your other family members too.
I have a 529 for my wife that I used to pay part of her tuition.
Any amount remaining can be transferred to another 529 (for a different
beneficiary). It's never too early to invest in a 529. :)
check out the 529 plan offered by your state.
