来自yahoo message board。 某菜鸟刚知道什么是option，在ER前10分钱一股买了2000
元的GOOG 990的call，然后一夜之间变成88万，直接退休。。
I heard this story from a friend, about his friend's friend (don't know them
personally, after 1-degree of separation): This guy, in his twenties, first
learned one week, that there is something called stock-market where you can
buy a stock and that can rise in value etc. etc. Next week, he learns about
derivatives on stocks -- options. When GOOG was trading around 875, he goes
far out and throws two grands and for a nickel he buys 990-strike GOOG
calls expiring on 10/18 ... and lo and behold, cashes out 880K when the GOOG
was trading at 1012 intraday -- a 440 times gain, in just over a week! Now,
he says he is done trading (just with his first trade of life! :-) ) and
would use the moola to start a business after some time! What do you say to
this? All the God speed to him! :-)
